Now You're Talking

Energy demands require a wide range of sources from wind, solar and hydropower to oil and natural gas.  Wind turbines, solar panels, dams, pipelines and power lines are therefore critical components of many nations’ infrastructures.  They produce electricity and fuel and move them to the places where they are most needed.

In spite of the importance of these critical components of national infrastructure, their siting and operations are often controversial and subject to diverse assessments and conflicts over benefits and impacts.

CDR assists people from diverse “communities” – companies, governments, municipalities, public interest groups and citizens – jointly address and find sustainable solutions to infrastructure controversy.
